Maternity session

My Maternity Signature Sessions are a way to capture the love and connection between you and your family before the arrival of your precious baby. Whether you are going from a couple with your first baby, or adding another baby to your growing family, it is a perfect way to celebrate your ‘before baby’. Maternity sessions are best held between 32 - 36 weeks, and are generally held in beautiful outdoor locations in the hour before sunset. Studio sessions are also available if you prefer.

Sessions run for approximately 45 minutes and I encourage the entire family to take part. I have a collection of beautiful gowns that you are welcome to wear during your session, or you are welcome to wear an outfit of your own choosing. If you want to go all out, it is always a great opportunity to get your hair and makeup done (which is also a great excuse to then enjoy a dinner out after the session!).

Maternity sessions start from $350.

First Glimpse session

Very rarely do you have the opportunity to have studio-quality portraits in the comfort of your hospital room. In Bloom Photography goes beyond the standard photo of your baby wrapped in a hospital blanket (though these are still super cute), and capture gently posed yet natural portraits of your newest arrival. Although you may not be feeling at your most photogenic, I am able to capture your new mum glow in the most complimentary way, and as such, I do encourage you to take part in the photos, as well as your partner and older children.

Sessions are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning from 10am, and take place in your hospital room. Upon arrival, I’ll likely help tidy up your room a bit by placing things in drawers, cupboards and maybe even the bathroom! I’ll then take photos of your baby on their own, then sibling and family portraits. If you have any nice wraps or outfits that you would like your baby photographed in, then feel free to bring them out for the session.

First Glimpse sessions are a flat-fee of $450 and are offered exclusively at Gosford Private Hospital.

Family sessions

As your children grow and personalities emerge, there is no greater gift than to have portraits that capture them at different ages, and almost more importantly, have portraits with you as parents in photos with your children. Family sessions are held outdoors in the late afternoon, and location options are discussed with you prior to the session. My sessions are more about you interacting with your family rather than looking at the camera and smiling (although I’ll still include those in your gallery).

Family sessions start from $350.

Newborn session

Your precious little baby will bring you years of joy, happiness, and love. Capturing their delicate features while they are still a newborn will let you look back on them as they grow, and see how much they have changed. You will also be providing them with a beautiful keepsake of their first few weeks of life. My style is natural, without distracting props and colours. I want you to look back and remember the way you felt when you shared those first moments with your precious child. How your baby smelled when you held them up to you; how it felt when they wrapped their little fingers around yours; the way you looked at them while the rest of the world (and my camera) melted away when they were in your arms. The images I capture of your baby will be earthy, real and natural. They will be gently posed into natural looking poses to show off their sweet little faces and features. 

Newborn sessions are held in my purpose-built home studio on St Huberts Island, Central Coast, and are best held between days 6 & 12 of your baby's life (if you have missed this window however, I won't turn you away - beautiful newborn images will be able to be captured up to 6 - 8 weeks old).

Petite sessions are perfect for those of you who only want a few beautiful images of their baby captured. I may still include your hands in the photos, but these sessions are all about baby. Petite sessions start from $350.

Signature sessions are recommended if you would like to have sibling and family portraits as well as a wider variety of setups for your newborn. Signature sessions start from $750.

Milestone sessions

Milestone sessions capture your baby between 3 - 12 months old. Watch Me Grow packages are becoming an increasingly popular way to keep photographic track of your baby’s first year. You can choose from:

• Watch Me Grow Petite Package sessions at 6 + 12 months

• Watch Me Grow Signature Package sessions at 3 + 6 + 9 + 12 months

Sessions run for approximately 30 - 45 minutes, and should be scheduled around your baby’s nap times so that they are well rested and fed at the time of the session. I have a collection of outfits for your baby to wear wear during their session, or you are welcome to bring an outfit of your own choosing.

Milestone sessions are a flat-fee of $450.
